GrenadeHub, a startup offering solutions for corporate team planning and financial management, has raised PLN 1.75 million for further growth. Venture capital funds Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder and Venture Inc believed in its potential.

Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder and Venture Inc invested in a first step a total of PLN 1.75 million in Grenade Hub, a Wroclaw-based startup and a developer of PSA (professional services automation) software.

The product offered in SaaS model collects data from different areas of business activity, enabling the optimisation of utilisation of resources and teams: it streamlines the allocation and the tracking of availability of employees and contract workers. Using financial simulations related to the profitability of IT projects also makes it possible to forecast financial flows. Grenade Hub was designed for small and medium-sized enterprises, including those in the IT sector (software houses) and services.

– We work with companies that treat people as their most valuable assets. We talk about their key needs and transfer what we hear into specific tools. – says Zbigniew Wantuła, board member of The Grenade Hub. – There are no mechanisms available on the market to accurately map the skills of the specialists employed in the company and match them with incoming tasks. Our software allows you to plan projects taking into account the uncertainty of the future, also from the financial point of view.

Grenade Hub also provides the possibility of integration with solutions for project management, time accounting and staff holiday management.

– Our product is aimed primarily at companies that are entering the growth phase and do not want to pay through the nose for the implementation of complex and expensive systems. They are looking for solutions that will help them integrate already used tools to gain a broader insight into their business. – adds Arkadiusz Terpiłowski, Head of Growth in the company.

Two venture capital funds are involved in the investment: Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder (companies such as Skinwallet, Vortex and Plum Research within its portfolio) and Venture Inc., a fund founded by the creators of LiveChat Software. Its portfolio includes, among others, Infermedica, Brand24 or Sundose.

– We believe in the founders of Grenade Hub and their vision. They have vast business experience and a product that has passed the market tests. – comments Radosław Czyrko, managing partner of Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder. – In addition to funding, we will also support the startup in its global development, leveraging the capabilities of our international business network. We are happy to see that Grenade Hub is the first of investments we are finalising with a potential beyond the Polish market.

– We first spoke with Grenade Hub more than a year and a half ago. Since then, they have come a long way, and their determination, vision and consistency convinced us. We see great potential in human resources management software, especially in post-COVID-19 times. – adds Jakub Sitarz, CEO of WSE-listed company Venture Inc S.A.

In the coming months, Grenade Hub will focus on further development of unique system functionalities and expansion into new markets and strengthening the team.
