Another company from the portfolio of Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder has begun its journey in the capital markets. Woodpecker.co made its debut on the alternative market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The company is already planning the next step: transitioning to the main stock exchange.

14 September 2021 was the first trading day for Woodpecker S.A. on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The tech company is the 11th newcomer this year.

The share price at the opening bell was at PLN 15,40 and was 28% higher than the reference price. In the following hours the share price was oscillating around 24% above the reference price.

– We are excited to join other public companies on the NewConnect market. We consider the early quotations to be the proof of our success and we are pleased to see the prices of our shares increase. Following the successful public offering in June, the interest in Woodpecker.co shares continues to be high, and the attitude of investors towards our business model and growth perspectives is positive. I strongly believe that Woodpecker.co will provide investors with satisfactory return on their investment. – says Mateusz Tarczyński, the CEO of Woodpecker.co S.A.

Woodpecker.co is the third company from Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder’s portfolio that has floated on the alternative market of the WSE (following Skinwallet and Gamivo).

Woodpecker.co S.A. software supports communication processes accompanying business activities such as active sales, acquiring business partners, maintaining relationships, and recruiting candidates. It acts as a full-time sales assistant: it helps manage processes, sends personalised messages and follow-up reminders smartly imitating human writing. Intelligent algorithms detect responses and assess whether a person is interested in an offer and, as a result, whether to cease or continue communication. The app’s developers estimate that it saves about 20 hours of work per week.

– The NewConnect debut is just the beginning of the company’s journey on the WSE. A great team, interesting business model, growing revenue and profits combined with the plans to move to the main market as soon as in a year’s time gives investors a truly interesting perspective. – says Radosław Czyrko, managing partner of Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder.
